COVID-19 Guest Guidelines and Policy

We have implemented safety and health protocols to ensure a safe environment for you and our staff.
We are asking our guests to text or call to schedule an appointment. We will not be accepting walk-ins.
We at One Carat Mani & Pedi will follow all new extremely strict protocols to ensure the safety of our team, our incredible guests and our community.
Outlined below are the guidelines and new policy that our guests must comply.
Please note that the following is subject to change at any time, and we will update on our website with the latest information as it continues to evolve.

COVID-19 INDUSTRY GUIDELINE CHECKLIST FOR EXPANDED PERSONAL CARE SERVICES (SB)

While we are taking extra precautions to maintain a clean and safe environment, by booking an appointment you acknowledge that you’ve read our guidelines and are comfortable with the risks associated booking a non-essential personal service during this time of transition and you will not hold One Carat Mani & Pedi and ANY STAFFS liable for any injury, illness or health conditions that arises from application of non-essential personal services.

PLEASE REMEMBER to bring your face masks if you are NOT fully vaccinated. It is mandatory for all guests who haven't gotten fully vaccinated to wear a face mask at all times inside. (SB)

If you arrive at your appointment showing any visible respiratory symptoms of illness even while wearing a face mask. For example, cough, fever, shortness of breath we have the right to refuse service with 100% cancellation fee. (SB)

It is also mandatory for all our manicurists to wear a face mask at all times while inside and performing services. (SB)

We are following all COVID-19 Health and Safety regulations and guidelines from the CDC , OSHA and SB county Public Health. (SB)

Our salons are properly cleaned, sanitized, disinfected before the start, in-between every single client, and at the closing of each day using only hospital grade disinfectants. (SB)

Upon your arrival, we will check your temperature and will guide you to wash your hands, for at least 20 seconds.(SB)

Please turn off or silence your phone.

We will pause all beverage and magazine services. (SB)

Do not trash any at salon. Please bring back home any trashes and belongings with you.

Only the person with the appointment is allowed in the salon, no kiddos, babies, friends or extra people are allowed in at this time. (SB)

You are not allow to touch polishes on the walls. We will provide polish sample sticks. (SB)

After your service, guests are to check out and leave immediately so we can properly clean, disinfect and sanitize for our next guests.

All One Carat Mani & Pedi staffs will take their temperature before the start of their shift as an additional health and safety precaution. (SB)

We’re committed to creating a safe and clean salon environment. However, if you would like to purchase your own nail clipper, nail nipper and pusher, please let us know before we start your service.

Please be aware that due to rising operational costs and time, there will be a price increase of services. Please check our new prices here.

24 hour cancellation notice requirement: If you fail to cancel 24 hour before your appointment, there will be a 100% for EACH service(s) reserved. Ex.Your appointment is 1pm on Thursday. You must let us know by 1pm on Wednesday.

Tardiness: If you confirm to show up your appointment; however, if your tardiness that goes beyond the 10 minutes window from the initial service time, we have a right to cancel and charge 100% of your reserved appointment(s).

Service substitution at site: In cases of situations where we are forced to change to quicker/simpler services from the original services due to your tardiness, you are still obligated to pay the full price of service(s) reserved.

Two Absences out: If you are a "no-show" customer with no prior notification to at least two reserved appointments, you will not be able to book appointments with our salon. You will be able to book appointment again when you pay no-show appointment services.

New Clients: Due to our 24-hour cancellation policy we need to acquire your credit card information to reserve your slots: The credit card number, CVV digits, expiration date and zip code. All cancellations for OneCarat Mani & Pedi require 24 hour advance notice. You will be imposed of full payment of services reserved, if you cancel less than 24 hours or No Show to your appointment.
Because of the new strict guidelines we have put in place, we must follow, any appointment you currently have is subject to change. Each manicurist is working a limited schedule to accommodate these changes, so please be patient with us as your appointment may change.
If you are experiencing any signs of illness, have been exposed to COVID-19, or are experiencing a fever, cough, or trouble breathing, please stay home and reschedule your appointment for at least 21 days later to ensure you are symptom-free.

It is everyone’s responsibility to help stop the spread of this virus, and protect those most vulnerable in our communities.
It’s a complicated situation, our plans may change, and if so we will let you know.
Please know we are closely monitoring the situation and will follow recommendations from the CDC and Santa Barbara Health Department.
